You padded into the area surprised how drastically the landscape had changed. The forest had stopped abruptly, into a bright meadow. A sense of peace overcomes you as you walk into the centre of it, and you spot a slate of stone. You pad up to it and notice it was an altar. You looked around yourself, noticing more and more what seemed ancient remains of a temple of sorts. As you look at what seems to be a temple you think you spot a young pup running freely between the pillars. The pup pauses and looks at you, then disappears. You shake your head, and go towards the temple. You here laughter and talking inside. You nervously come in, but it appears empty, the chatter around you still loud. You cower as the wind grows, and you are forced back into the corner. You growl, frightened. In one last gust of wind, everything goes quiet. In the middle of the room was another slab of stone, another alter. You pad up to it, and you hear the laughter and voices again. You looked puzzled at it. You put your paw onto of it, the stone mossy with age. Another, gentler wind blew, and you hear laughter behind you. A female fairy floated above your nose when you turned then darted away. You hastily followed, afraid you would loose it. It rarely looked back at you, her skirt twirling about her as she sped through the sky. She had pale skin, and was dressed in reds and browns, two horns on top of her head. You renter the forest, winding through trees. You enter yet another meadow and she stops and whispers in your ear.
" You have reached sacred ground. Be aware of what you say, you don't know who is listening."
She smiled at you, and sat down on top of your head, pointing to another temple, this one looking fresh and cleans. You pad in, and hear the laughter louder than ever. As you go in further, you see animals of all sorts, a sense of greatness surrounding them. You look at them, noticing some of them watching you. A female lion steps forward.
" You are courageous to enter here. I am the goddess of bravery. The gods and goddesses are listening stranger, speak now."
The others in the room looked at you. They all listened, and you understood the fairys advice. You never know who is listening...
